I agree with you that CPQ sales tilt strongly toward business and that Compaq should (and I believe will) protect them. I don't, however, believe that the business environment (in this country at least) is where the growth is. By having inexpensive but profitable PCs to sell to those markets which require them, CPQ can continue to grow at a higher rate than the PC market in general. One thing they will need to watch out for is the current high end buyer who switches to the low or middle ground PC. I don't think there'll be much of this and even if there is, at least Compaq will be there on the other side to make it up. Something that can't be said for some of its major competitors.

Long term CPQ bull.
