Nice of you to mention Russell Kirk. Isn't Gary Zukav some sort of New Age guru? Maybe I've been misinformed... I liked Carl Sagan until I read about the way he treated Immanuel Velikovsky in a "debate" they had. It wasn't really a debate at all, he spent a good deal of time ridiculing Velikovsky personally and making snide comments to the audience about Velikovsky's views. He wasn't exactly a gentleman that night...
