welcome, MtMike... another who sees thru tech morasse

a simple summary I read last night said the GAAP-based S&P earnings revealed a 40-41 PEratio
which is 2.5% earnings yield
big effing deal, big effing deal
future earnings is, as you state, priced into valuations
the valuation of tech stocks is even more absurd

any action upside in techs will be smallcap and microcap
we see eye to eye

I thought AMAT earnings were a joke
just not as big a joke as Cisco's
unless AMAT wrote off non-obsolete product inventory last year
what a big laugh
I expect esp chip equipment makers to feel pain later this year

the USdollar is in deep deep trouble
we could see a 20% decline easily
with some bad intl press, we could see 30% decline
that would make it impossible for S&P to avoid a 15-20% cut
later, and only later, an appropriately valued currency would see benefits for our nation's businesses, like exporters
the dollar decline will become the biggest story of the year
combined with the GOLD story, with which it is tightly linked

welcome again, and bring forward some valuable websites
always looking for good ones with solid info and added value

your profile is empty
what is your professional background?
if shy, no problem
mine is professional circus jackass
