That is a very interesting quote you have on the ounces per population. I have never seen that before. Thanks.

The total 15,000 tons is significant after all but not that much so compared to the 130,000 tonnes in existance. The proportion has increased but nothing compared to the number of US dollars and other currencies chasing it.

By the way one of the numbers that has always appeared a little suspect is the one I just quoted. The amount of gold that is supposed to be extant in the world is always quoted at 120,000 to 130,000 tonnes. Have you ever come across a more accurate questimate?
