27.5 is starting to look like resistance for AMAT. I remember, back in early 1999, AMAT came out with a great earnings report, signaling clearly to everyone that the cyclic upturn way underway. The stock jumped 20%, and never looked back. The just-released report, with those blow-out bookings, was the same kind of report, but investors ignored it. Actually, what really happened, is that the runup on this great news happened, but this time it happened before the news was official.
