Since the article was discussing the support Kahane receives currently in the U.S., what happened in Israel is obviously not relevant. But, if that is what you want to talk about, then we can discuss the fact that in addition to being jailed and banned from running for office, you left out the fact that he was called a "Nazi" by the Israeli Supreme Court. And in the U.S. this "Nazi" receives great support. In fact, there is a den of Kahane believers right here on SI.
