A small correction based on my understanding of Social Security for immigrants:
o. Is it not true that one need to contribute at least for 40 quarters (10 years) to be qualified for Social Security?
Also, if you leave the country within that limit you don't get a dime. I think this is fair as new immigrants/temporary workers are utilizing the infrastructures of this country from the day one they arrive.
o. It used to be a loop hole where older citizens (seniors) are eligible for social security irrespective of whether they are citizen or not (meaning Green Card holders). My understanding is that this has been terminated recently.
o. The biggest scam is in using Madicaid by all immigrants.
Now states are restricting Medicare but not all of Medicaid benefits.

I agree that Social Security is a scam used by both parties to cook the book and burden our kids and their kids. Unless,
on one fine midnight(after every body sleeps) our Honorable Senators and Congressmen bring a bill to abolish Social Security and pass it by a voice vote. Of course, this has to be agreed by the Chief crook, the President.

But I am not sure privatizing is a better evil.
