In Cyberspace.. A Role-playing game, at the VERY least.
So I compared this Bull Shit, that consumes so many people, with their time.. So many soft, unproductive, unexperienced people, spending All this time on a game..
With people, real people, We recently met in SE Belize, where we recently traveled, where they had to cope with Hurricane Iris that almost devasted the village of Placencia. They are still living, laughing, and making the best of things..
We spent time in "Monkey River Town", a village somewhat remote, that just got power back, a desiel generator that will operate for six hours a day.. They are so happy.. We were so happy for them..
The children in these villages, are so happy, they go to school so fresh and clean,, they play soccer, they laugh, etc..
And here, where we have "everything", the poster's are not happy.. They are pissed at each and everybody.. Over what, I do not know..
So does idleness and material wealth bring happiness?? My experiences here and elsewhere says no.... |
