And you look to the middle east now and what do you see? Still many prophets and still so many wise mullahs, clerics , rabbai's and priests , and charismatic leaders ...and all are filled with the spirit , and all believe that they are standing amid the light shining from the center of God and the scriptures.
So it is today , so it was yesterday , and last century , and the century before that and so on , till when you go back 2000 yrs , you have prophets everywhere , in every tribe , in every city , on every corner.
For one to recognize that love was one essence of the solution , an answer for all time and part of the underlying fabric of the unity of all life ...
well that was not something that was known or unique to anyone or even the new age religion of Christianity<g> The teachings were to take hold because they already existed in man's mind at the time , before Saul , and before Jesus .
What followed was a cult that was adopted by an empire to unify it's troops and population ...and light fires of zeal using the most popular, powerful and mysterious human emotion besides fear , that would inspire and rally the hearts of men and save the empire .
Was this a new and unique revelation at all of "Love" ,within the human mind and heart , with or without a resurrection story or a preaching Paul ?
Not at all...you say you found love ? It is a "goodness" isn't it ? You can find it everywhere in nature thru all time ...in poetry/prose and scripture that goes back befor human written words.
