BroadVision Appoints Andrew J. Nash as Chief Operating Officer

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., May 15, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- BroadVision, Inc. (Nasdaq:BVSN), the leading provider of enterprise business portal applications, today announced that Andrew J. Nash has been named as executive vice president and chief operating officer of BroadVision. Andrew Nash brings extensive enterprise applications and services experience to BroadVision's management team. As chief operating officer, Nash will oversee all of BroadVision's customer- and market-facing functions including BroadVision's worldwide sales, services and marketing organizations.

Nash has extensive experience serving Global 2000 customers in a wide variety of industry sectors including consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, natural resources, public sector, retail and telecommunications. Most recently, he served as CEO of Collaborex, a collaborative commerce application service provider. Prior to joining Collaborex, Nash served as an EVP and Board Member of Baan Company N.V. managing over $300 million in revenues and 2,000 employees globally. While at Baan Company, Nash also held the positions of CEO, Coda plc, and president, Baan Corporate Office Solutions. Prior to Baan Company, Nash served on the Global Board of Management of Deloitte Consulting/ICS. The business grew to a $1 billion, 5,000 person Enterprise Applications consultancy business over a five-year period. Nash also commenced and built the Asia Pacific SAP integration business for Deloitte Consulting/ICS and went on to build the company's Baan integration business in 13 countries in his capacity as Global Managing Partner. Nash has also held executive positions at Oracle and Arthur Andersen.

Nash holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne (Australia) and a Graduate Diploma in Computing from Monash University (Australia).
