FUTS dipping on housing starts down 5.4%, jobless claims up 2000, both slightly weaker then expected....

Housing Starts fell to 1.55M; Claims rise to 418K; both slightly negative for mkt
Housing Starts fell 5.4% to a 1.55 mln unit rate in April, but Building Permits rose 0.3% to 1.634 mln. Though the Housing Starts figure will be a disappointment, the uptick in permits will prevent this from being interpreted too negatively. Claims edged up 2K to 418K, above the 405K consensus; highlights concerns that there hasn't been much followthrough on the jobs front in this recovery.

Here are a few home builders to watch for weakness/short set ups tho an increase in building permits may soften any downside potential:
