I'll never forget one dinner perhaps 15 years ago. My wife and I were vacationing with her entire family in the region of perigord ( land of fois gras,confit de carnard, saucisson, etc.etc.etc.) After a delicious meal with copious amounts of wine, my father-in-law turned around to an elderly german couple and blasted him as being SS. He was visibly enraged at this man. My father-in -law was drunk and outside himself, but he was always eccentric and rich enough to do whatever pleased him. He died about 5 years ago and I do miss him. just a memory..... HH
