Bill, If you are inferring that I am of a "liberal" persuasion, you are sorely mistaken. My beef with Republicans since 1980 has been fiscal irresponsibility and failure to protect the environment. At the time I voted for Gerald Ford in 1976, fiscal responsibility was the hallmark of the Republicans. Since then, the Reagan-Bush-Bush legacy of debt has become a ball and chain on the economy. 25% of your tax money now goes to pay interest on the debt. Eliminate the debt, and you can cut taxes by 25% immediately. Even more upsetting is the fact that the Saudi's finance large portions of the debt, and use the money to finance some rather questionable organisations.
