<<Do you think DPMI will be able to utilize all of this new capacity?>>

I don't know. I read recently that Hyundai had taken some of its photomask production back in-house. Overall, this sector should continue to grow.

I am a little skeptical about the reason given for the projected earnings shortfall. First, the CFO should be on top of capital expenditures and other costs. Certainly the capital expenditures were planned -- DPMI did not just decide to build these facilities this quarter! Personnel costs should also be planned costs. If additional personnel were needed to meet demand, then we would expect to see increased revenues. However, revenues are expected to be in line with projections. If the additional costs are administrative, then shame on DPMI (unless they are sales costs). At least the administrative costs are easy to cut for next quarter.

Also, I would think that the company has some flexibility in how it charges its construction costs. Or, it could borrow the money rather than take it out of cash flow.
