John, the moral is, men hate pantyhose and will make up outrageous stories to convince women to wear cotton or nothing at all. <g> Or, was it a case of 40s-60s technology, synthetic fabrics and pantyhose, trying to maintain their cutting edge against late 60s-early 70s computer technology? Hmmmmm!
I have mixed feelings about pantyhose, myself. They are pretty bizarre for holding up banks. And nothing beats that view of bare leg over the top of a pair of regular nylon stocking. However, without pantyhose, there probably never would have been grown up women in mini-skirts, and, oooh, do I like mini-skirts. <g> |
