Peak earnings in 2000 were $1.20 (split adjusted) on $9.56B revenues. We are a lot of orders and revenues away from that and next quarters EPS looks like $0.05. The earnings jump validates the high valuation it has had through the down cycle, but $45 should arrive not earlier than 2004.
