The Stanley maneuver is based on a scam. It's a Potemkin Village (actually a Potemkin Office) set up in the Bahamas where no business of any importance will take place. You know that and I know that.

If Stanley wishes to become a foreign company, fine. Then move 1,000 people to the Bahamas. If Stanley wishes to remain an American company, then God bless them. It's the hybrid, hypocritical concept that bothers me ... setting up a Potemkin Office in a foreign country while, at the same time, pocketing $30 million in taxes and expecting to be treated as an American company and enjoying all the advantages of living in the U.S. of A.

Hopefully, Congress will close this most disgusting loophole. But it may be several years for that to occur.
