That's a very valuable thing to do. The lawyer is preserving freedom. Freedom is a good thing. Measuring productivity is difficult, but with cyberspace, photocopiers, 747s, and many other technologies, the lawyer is able to process many more escapes to Bermuda than a couple of decades ago, for a much lower cost.
