Copperhill just issued a very interesting news release on their Tim's Cove property located in the Botwood Basin area in
Central Newfoundland.Recent geochemical and petrographic analysis suggests the presence of sediment-hosted
disseminated gold(SDHG) "Carlin" style mineralization.Interesting to see as well that Copperhill recently staked additional
ground contiguous to the south end of their property.

The frenzied staking in this area has been triggered by the presence of Barrick's recent joint ventures with Altius Minerals. It
is also interesting to note that this is a rare event to have a company like Barrick get involved in a grassroots play. This
should give us some indication of Barrick's optimism for the discovery of a Carlin-style gold system.Companies from many
parts of the globe are jockeying for a piece of the action. This reminds me of the staking rush that occurred when
DiamondFields discovered Voisey's Bay.Check it out here:

What is most interesting is that CopperHill staked their Tim's Cove property in 1996...long before other companies
awakened to the prospects for this area. This most likely indicates that CopperHill had first "pick of the crop."Check their
website for a report on work that has been done on this property in the past.....as well as recent work mentioned in today's
press release....www.copperhillcorp.com
Here is some key information from the press release:
"The Tim's Cove prospect consists of a large (greater than one-kilometre-long) singular auriferous quartz vein
cutting the Charles Cove granodiorite with associated sulphide and alteration in the host rock. The vein system
was originally viewed as a tungsten target due to the discovery of associated scheelite in the 1950s. Subsequent
exploration work on this system by Copper Hill and others
since the early 1990s revealed the presence of gold (up to 14.56 grams/tonne in a grab sample), locally massive
arsenopyrite, galena and chalcopyrite in the vein, and arsenopyrite-bearing sericitized haloes in the host
granodiorite (2.3 g/t gold over 80 centimetres at the Berni zone and 0.94 g/t to 1.98 g/t gold over 60 centimetres,
at the Gina zone).

CopperHill now has a 100% interest in 108 claims in the area. From what I can gather each claim represents 64 acres...for
a total of approx.6900 acres-quite a land package.Given the paucity of prospective property that now exists, I wouldn't be
surprised to see other interested companies courting a joint venture with CopperHill.
I am certain that shareholders will want CopperHill focus its attention on this area, along with continuing to pursue a joint
venture on their highly prospective Powderhorn property.
