The AOL division business fundamentals haven"t
improved, they say, but the stock reflects the downside and any
positive news should boost the shares. Reif Cohen and Slabin
also offer an extensive analysis of AOL's problems, such as
management credibility and financial constraints, and discuss
possible solutions. The company is likely to resolve its issues
quickly and cleanly, which should lift the shares, they say.

My question is why should it lift the shares, and why should I buy it on Merrill Lynch's upgrade? They are the same analysts who said to buy INSP and in e mails called it a piece of $&I%%
