Yahoo and Raging Bull threads seemed to find the call very positive

I don't follow those threads, but my impression of the conference call was that it was pretty ho-hum. Yuen did his normal cheerleading about how confident he is about the future of the company and how the company continues to meet its internal financial targets. I gotta admit that I was pretty turned off when he told everyone to "close your eyes and fast-forward into the future."

The stuff I learned was about the new joint venture with Nielsen. However, as Yuen said, that was contemplated over a year ago. I was surprised that there is an expanded agreement with Thomson yet there was no mention of the law suit Gemstar filed against them.

Does anyone know about that lawsuit? Did anyone get anything else out of the conference call that was particularly enlightening or new?
