$400 million loan to Ebbers: There could be grounds for shareholder lawsuits against board members. It's fiscally irresponsible to loan that much money to anyone who doesn't have sufficient collateral, even if that person is the CEO. The irony is that Ebbers would have been much better off with a forced sale of stock to meet the margin call.
