I hate to be so damn cynical...but i think the whole merger ...was a ramp job to sell stock...

It never really made sense...It just created a huge conglomerate that nobody could understand...Time Warner (Totally) Sucked to begin with...(with all their debt).

Now we get this song and dance about how to Move subscribers to broadband...I can tell you this...AOL does not want to be in the Hardware business....Absolutely NOT...

Even if they could get the subscribers moved to Broadband...What are they going to do with them? Load the AOL browser faster??? ...and download some audio??? Maybe pull up a map on the fly???

I think where they really screwed up is resisting all of this license stuff on the internet...It just stops people from using the internet...You got new artists that will just innundate the world with fresh new stuff...and they don't have to pay license fees to time warner....

Gee...I guess that's a good thing...

I personally think there is enough business to go around...And i don't really care about Steve Cases' Stock Selling Strategy for the Coming years...I really don't care how much stock Merrill Lynch is stuck with...Or any of those other Houses...

I honestly hope the little guy eats their lunch...I think I smell fear... -g-
