JW, I might not agree with your negative view on the stock market but do agree with the very bullish outlook for Gold.

My reason is simply that a weakening dollar, makes trader/investors want to get into equities, which have less currency risk than bonds.
Of course Gold/Gold stocks will do better.

For that reason, my trade would be big cap tech and Dow longs along with a bigger long in Gold.

Your silver idea really plays into the recovery along with precious metal safe haven idea. Silver probably works in all environments.

Gold hedgers may be OK as well. A huge meltdown is needed to push Gold to extremes and that looks unlikely. Therefore hedgers and unhedged all benefit to varying degrees.

Very bullish on Gold still.
