You see, E, it's the "I take it that" that is the problem. When one infers inferences about innuendos ... we are not going anywhere. CH made no insinuations of a sexual nature regarding Poet? Far from clear that he did. Only CH knows the answer to that, and it lies in his heart.. Did they [desk sergeant's questions] contain innuendo, too? Or not? Certainly not the innuendos you found.
