Look you investor guys! - "Restructuring" means firing scientific staff. Honest people who bought into management bullshit.
How many managers/BOD members have been fired? Is the stock price at 1.50 because of the science or the business guys? Let me make it clear that our VGNX science is top-class
Look at the "Management" ...
Chairman Housman - always falls asleep in meetings - has provided NO leadership to the BOD, company or scientists in the past 9 years. Has slyly undercut 2 CEOS (Ledley & Crouch) while pretending to be their supporters, and may have been behind the departure of VGNX's one professional manager, Dykes. But he still draws a cool quarter million a year from the company for sleeping one afternoon a week in the VGNX conferennce room - as does fellow free-loader Verdine. Wanna cut "burn rate"? May I make a suggestion?
VCs Formela, Chambon, Vogelbum. They zoom zoom in for a BOD meeting in their Porsches, then Zoom Zoom back out. They NEVER stay to talk to the VPs or the scientists, and have not the slightest idea what actually goes on inside the company.
All they have is the arrogant view that they know it all and are whiz-kids, 'cos they made sh@t loads of cash when the market was booming (without appreciating the fact that they only looked good 'cos the market was booming).
Lets face it these guys haven't a clue, and only look good because they were in the market at the right time - So what have they contibuted to VGNX's future? Their egos, that's all. If they are not prepared to devote some serious time and some serious thought to VGNX - get rid of these fast-talking morons!
Give them a reality-check-book!

Tony Wild was OK, but had to move on to other things. Bill Scott (Chambon's pal) has provided not one iota of input other than supporting Chambon - glove puppet! Hey Bill, what's it like to have a froggie's hand up your ass?
Managers? Jury's out on CEO Mohr, a Crouch clone. CFO/COO Shea is the glue holding the company together, and the others? Considered lightweights within the company.
So why have the scientists borne the brunt of the "downsizing"? Because the management and Board haven't a f@cking clue, that's why!
