Blackmail is a threat to ruin someone's reputation by forwarding damaging information to interested parties.

Is it blackmail to threaten to post publicly personal information about someone (ie give it to many "interested parties"), information you possess because they once trusted you as a friend, information you have been told not to post (and are mischaracterizing, btw, believing your bluff will never be called because it will be embarrassing to your victim to call it), unless they give in to your demands, then?

If you say yes, that would be blackmail, I will show you where CH did that. After I plant my flowers.
