we are seeing the shorters killing rei, cms, cmp, etc. plus institutions and funds must be dumping, afraid of the next enron. rei in particular is an incredible opportunity, though i don't profess to know where the bottom is. 9.5% yield, the old Houston Industries. yes, they boogered, yes there will be CA investigations, yes RRI was stupid, but it is a real company, real assets, strong balance sheet. will be buy of century soon, imo. larry
