I can hear it in the board room:budget review BA:"Division I IT just spent $20M on the Office rollout. Division II IT spent $2M for the StarOffice rollout." COO: "What? are they the same size?" BA: "Yes" COO: "Who the hell is running Division I IT?" HR: "The manager's name is Lee, Steve Lee." COO: "Get that assh., that guy on the phone right now" CFO: "Why the difference in price?" CIO: "Lee keeps flapping his gums about compatibility with existing systems" COO:"What's this about compatibility?" CIO: "The file formats. Everyone uses Office so they don't want conversions" COO: "For $18M we'll hire our own programmers to solve that." HR" "Steve's not answering. He's out of town trying to get the systems up." COO: "That SOB's not wasting $18M of my , I mean of the shareholder's money". Find someone else to run Division I IT."
