Speaking of double standards, I think it's interesting that originally when the "Israeli art student" story was being spun, it was that the "art students" were really nefarious Middle Easterners pretending to be Israeli. KHOU TV in Houston reported that Middle Easterners pretending to be Israeli art students were trying to break into federal buildings in October, 2001, but the story is no longer accessible on the KHOU site. I even went to the trouble of registering, giving them my real name, etc., and still hit a brick wall. But the story is archived on Free Republic.

Now that it's turned out that they were really Israelis . . . . it's no longer a story.

Most of the online stories have been blocked, but a few remain.

What is the problem with the story? That it makes the anti-Israel crowd wet their pants with glee?
