My response to your Yahoo post is "Duhhhhhhhh!".

If the water CAN be shut off you do it - Duhhhh!

If its coming from vertical fractures into the wellbore from way down below (which I believe is the case), you ain't gonna squeeze it off (picture it in your head). Overpressure and high temperature can only be explained by the deep vertical fractures theory.

Your comment that it would be stupid to produce a well that makes 60,000 bwpd is correct (duhhh). So what is your realistic solution to save this play?

The truth is much easier to defend then BS.
