TSE bulletin 2002-0559
The common shares will be posted for trading at the open on May 17, 2002, on a two-shares-for-one-share split basis. The subdivision will be effected by issuing on or about May 27, 2002, to shareholders of record as of the close on May 22, 2002, a certificate for one additional common share for each common share held as of such record date.
The share purchase warrants (symbol: G.WT) will continue to trade under their current Cusip number and symbol, however, the exercise price shall be adjusted to $10 per share, with each warrant exercisable for two common shares, effective May 22, 2002. The expiry date of the share purchase warrants remains as at May 13, 2009. The common share purchase warrants (symbol: G.WT.U) will continue to trade under their current Cusip number and symbol, however, the exercise price shall be adjusted to $12.50 (U.S.) per share, with each warrant exercisable for two common shares effective May 22, 2002. The expiry date of the common share purchase warrants remains as at April 30, 2007.
The common shares will commence trading on "ex-distribution" basis at the open on May 17, 2002, and on any transactions on or after this date, delivery may be made covering only one-half of the common shares sold, with the balance of such transactions being on a "when issued" basis, delivery to be completed when the additional shares have been received by the registered shareholders. It is understood that trading in the company's common shares on the New York Stock Exchange will be on a "due bill" (that is, non-split) basis from May 23, 2002, to May 28, 2002, inclusive, and that "ex-stock dividend" trading in the company's common shares will commence on the NYSE on May 29, 2002.
