Barry,

All I know is Microsoft will not disappoint.

Bill, more Street-smart (no pun intended) than Andy/Andrea, knows how to manage Wall Street and its bandits of analysts. The combination of deferred earnings accounting practice and low, low guidance from the company have stripped much of the manipulative power of elite analysts. Even Goldman Sach's Rick Sherlund doesnot make as much noise any more.

Among all tech stocks, big or small, Microsoft has the least problems in maintaining stock price stability during product transition or economic cyclicality. I think, if MSFT should sell off after eps reporting, it would be due to summer lull or other external factors, not because of revenue/eps shortfalls.

Regards,
Ibexx
