As for cycles, no clue. Carpino, like Zeev, hits on his calls far more often than the vast majority of market timers. Thus, I pay attention to their calls.
Much like your Max Pain theory. It doesn't work on every play, BUT a vast majority of the time, it does <g>
BTW, Velo, who also has a super, but not perfect record, is still not bullish
