TLC,

I started buying the South African gold stocks (AU, HGMCY, GFI and DROOY) back in 2000 and was using MB's 1/3 rds strategy. I did buy a 4th 1/3 at the bottom on these. <ggg> Fundamentally we were paying between $20 and $30 per oz for the gold reserves. 20 year bear markets produce uncommon values. It could be that one could start this process accumulating these stocks today. HGMCY, GFI and AU pay nice dividends so your capital is working for you while you are accumulating a core position.

Have been buying trading positions on HGMCY and GFI on dips, but am not betting the farm on any of these trades.

FCO pays their dividend monthly and the next dividend is June 7. Yahoo news picks up the dividend announcements.
