<The TRINQ dipped to .13 and stayed there all day on the mammoth CSCO rally. The TRINQ has been low most of the time since then. TRINQ of .13 is pretty damn powerful buying.> as far as i know TRIN can not differentiate buying from short covering.

The word from those on floor that day said there was little real buying.
Those who have been saying short positions are not enough to account for that much buying have not recognized short positions are escalating from the ever increasing Hedge Funds, they are impacting the market far more than people are calculating, imo.
Also one of the best lessons i was ever taught is the short/long players will buy a market up so they can take it down again.
Hard fact these days you have to get info over and beyond what is available to us.
When a specialist or MM chatter amongst themselves they know what's up.
The CSCO rally was not real buying pressure, and i haven't heard any trader yelling yet "we have REAL BUYING !!" , since the CSCO rally. Has anyone?? If so, speak up.Max
