Frank, I would appreciate it

if you could provide some insight into two areas that I have questions about.

1. What is the difference between FPGA(field programmable gate arrays) and NPU(network processing units); per my layman's knowledge both are chips that their functions can be changed with software as opposed to other chips what need to be changed out if there is a needed function change.

2. Your thoughts that 802.11b and next 802.11a both will not come to maturation/wide acceptance because wide band is better and what is really needed, but has been delayed because spectrum is not available yet.

I would appreciate any information or insight you could provide.

On another note I have located an even better pop up stopper. It's much better than the paid program with Norton Security and it is free:

analogx.com

Click on the X and the program is POW. I have used it for about two months and have incurred no problems and works without disrupting work.

thanks in advance for your thoughts

Howard
