Why aren't you using the real (split-adjusted) stock prices? That would be a better way to compare different peaks and troughs.

Another column, showing the P/S ratio, or the PE based on cycle-peak EPS, would show what investors were willing to pay for AMAT, at each cycle peak and trough. The absolute stock price doesn't mean much.
