You are either wrong or I didn't understand your point. Clearly they have to close their hedges at some point in the future and that is going to require delivering gold into the loan they took out to create the hedge in the first place. One of us is not understanding the nature of the way they create a spot defferred. I am afraid you are arguing that they didn't really have to sell an ounce of gold short to create the spot defferred in the first place..that would be hard to argue since if they didn't do that there would be no proceeds to invest...Are you really claiming that?
