I can't say exactly how big it is but it's changed some routes that went right over it. Second, it's a dome. Built to deflect and it's the strongest shape. The outer dome is 5' of steel reinforced extra heavy concrete. Then there is a second inner containment dome. Overbuilt at the time, seems about right now. Third, I think there's about as much chance for an airliner to be hijacked as me winning the lottery.
