It's no wonder these "rallies" all fail, those resistance levels need to be broken honestly - with a build up of short term support on the way, and a big build up of it right below that tough resistance. These 5 or 6 islands on the NDX 60 minute charts since January have ALL failed so far, and all have led to lower lows and another leg down. This chart is a few weeks old and does not include this recent Island completely, but you can see what I mean about the lower lows. mywebpages.comcast.net Not healthy intervention at all IMO, and that's why have never gotten true capitulation and the wash out type move that leaves a vacuum for a swift, sustainable move to the upside!
