Indeed it may. If you know the industry I think you can see some big differences. Notice how Enron as large as Enron was it hardly left a dent in the market place when it quit many of their businesses. That was because their real, tangible assets were few. Enron traded a bunch of paper. REI and some of the others have "real" businesses. What would you do if your local utility company went out of business? What we are seeing is an industry under attack. Not only is REI getting hit but so are the others. Some are being more than unjusticely punished. I think REI is one of those along with MIR, DYN and others.

Maybe falling for good reason? Maybe, kind of like AOL, GLW, TYC and ORCL. I think REI is in better shape than all of those plus they share their profits with their shareholders.
