This makes sense to me. I also don't believe the market will storm back even though in past recessions it has. But there is no question that there is a turn in economic activity. I went to the movies and dinner on Saturday - I have never seen such crowds. Now, I know having Spiderman and Star Wars out there was an important factor but I went to see About a Boy with my 2 daughters and it was full for a 4PM show. The wait for dinner was very long and all the other restaurants were full. The jump in retail sales in my opinion was no fluke.

Here's a chart showing the coming turn in Computers and Electronics - I think it bodes well for the next 12 months and I think earnings will show significant improvement over this time:
