Roebear, think of us poor Alaskans.

No sales tax, no income tax, mediocre to low property tax (mine are roughly $2000 on a slightly above average home), and we get a nice check back every year. Due to a projected shortfall the little buggers are likely to invoke a mild income tax and take some out of our dividend kity.

I think I need to find a new state.
