Dick Cheney said today there was "no actionable intelligence". The irony that phrase is that it could be interpreted as the real human sort of intelligence, and be correct. What is inexcuseable is threatening those who wish to do a bit of investigation. Cheney will end up being among those that should be impeached or resign. Rumsfeld is no doubt going to be the next one to say unsupportable things to support unconscionable failures. So many coincidental simultaneous failures, including the thread of FBI and CIA connections through the Florida flight school is only one of many to follow, especially the attempts to erase evidence.
