US plays a much bigger role in life of 1 billion plus people of our region, this is a fact and a ground reality, acrsso the Atlantic in a insular surroundings it is kind
of difficult to explain. it is very much a US business when it sees escalation with few thousands of its men in Pakistan in Jacobabad, Dalbandin, Mianwali and otehr places. These very places are 'legitimate' targets of India too, this area is hot-bed of criminals terrorists like Osama and US wants its shop to be active and open here to keep the criminals on the run. These are the places which were forgotten and deserted that led to 11th Sept, these are hte advanced frontiers of USA and you defend them so as you sleep well in USA, this is cruel fact but a reality. Unless these people are taken out this is hte area that does concerns Mr. Bush and Pakistan has acted very responsibly so far. India wants to settle their onw accounts as India feels like USA to act and punish the sancturies with daisy cutters that they don't have. Lot of things happen behind the scenes that keep these countries apart and this is the business of USA unfortunately. As a super power they keep account of the external forntiers of defending homeland.
The reason we have peace so far is thanks USA otherwise by now we would have had our heads open. However, in the same vein, I do agree 'grown ups' should act like 'grown ups,' I consent, if we cannot act responsibly we have no right to exist!! |
