Unable to persuade the Saudis to accept bin Laden, and lacking a case to indict him in U.S. courts at the time, the Clinton administration finally gave up on the capture. What was Clinton supposed to do? He couldn't even charge him with parking violations. Maybe he could have got him to invest in Whitewater after which Bin Laden wouldn't have had any money left. TP
