This indeed caught me and others by surprise. I brought some (along with two other traders who trade next to me) at $40.20 in the early afternoon when NTL moved up sharply. We were all flabbergasted when heavy selling drove it down below $40. I bailed out there.

I try not to trade when I don't understand what is happening. One of the traders said there was negative news on AT&T but this generally doesn't effect BCE. The selling was from more than one firm.
