Well...something definitely worse would have been electing a completely brain-dead chronic liar like Al Gore. Or another narcissistic disfunctional teenage skirt chaser like Bill Clinton.

Deep intellects are rarely seen on the national stage when electing a President. Good character, honesty, and the ability to select a talented team is the hallmark of a great leader. And George W. brings with him a unique talent for consensus building. Something we've had far too little of these past 8 years.

Petty party bickering and desperately trying to link every issue into some political mudslinging contest (including war), is the hallmark of the Clintonized Democrat team these days. They still don't get it. Most of the american people are sick-and-tired of the political divides. They want the people elected, Democrat, Republican and Independent to work together for the common good.

Yes, they may be naive and full of idealism. But that's what they want. And it's the main reason Democrat political attack techniques are not really working to help win them constituents.
