The COT, much ado about nothing. Years ago when there were far fewer traders than now, you never heard much about the COT. In the S&P, it was a somewhat valuable trading tool - at least until late 1995. Now that's it's so en vogue, it has lost most, if not all of its effectiveness. And yes Nancy, no one is saying much about how bearish the NDX e-mini contract is. Wake up the bull when the Commercials are net long and the small specs net short in the S&P 250X contract.
